Coming up on Lake Powell just over the AZ border was another superb sight as well. Part of the rest of the trip took us over a piece of Navajo Indian Reservation and it had some amazing rock formations as well.
Then between Flagstaff and Phoenix on I-15 seeing the saguaro cactus in person for the first time was fantastic. There were just acres and acres of them beside the interstate.
